Less Crowded Location
Unlike many other waterfalls in Bali, Gembleng Waterfall is rarely crowded due to its remote location in East Bali. There's no need to arrive early, as it generally remains peaceful throughout the day.
Bring Cash
At the top, you’ll find a small shop selling local food and drinks, but they only accept cash, so be sure to bring some with you.
Moderate Hike
After parking, there’s about a 10-minute uphill walk to reach the pool area of the waterfall. The trail has concrete steps and is relatively easy to climb, with a stream running alongside you.
Entrance and Donation
While entry to the waterfall is free because it’s a sacred place for locals, foreigners are encouraged to make a respectful donation of at least 20k IDR.
